Titgemeyer UK is part of the Titgemeyer international group who provide fasteners and fastening technology across 16 sites throughout Europe. After learning of the company seeking a sales person for the North of England Alexander James Recruiting approached the company direct to offer its services. Although a little different to the types of industries we're normally involved with we felt it was a company and a sector where we could succeed in adding value. After setting up a meeting with the UK Sales Director at one of Titgemeyer's subsidiary (Baker & Finnemore) in the West Midlands an exclusivity agreement of 2 weeks was made for us to source and submit CV's. Upon discussing the requirements we felt as if this was ample time for us to be able to source and create a strong shortlist of candidates with relevant, industrial fastening sales experience. Alexander James went about sourcing by covering every possible opportunity within the fastenings sector which involved network and speaking with individuals from various companies as a headhunting exercise in addition to advertising on various job boards and our website. We were able to successfully create a shortlist of three candidates who we felt the requirements outlined. After two interviews I am delighted to say the position was filled and we were particularly pleased given Titgemeyer UK had had little positive experience with recruitment agencies up until now.
