A-Plant (Ashtead Plant Hire), the UK's largest provider of plant hire and various other related site equipment & services is set to re-brand as Sunbelt Rentals from May 1st. With annual revenues of just under £500m & 191 locations across the UK this is a huge move within the construction sector. The full reasons & motivations for the name change area not completely clear though the Sunbelt name itself is not surprising given it is the sister companies of A-Plant in North America.
