Hertz may have sadly disappeared and other car rental providers are no doubt struggling through the crisis but its a different story for commercial vehicle rental. As various Truck & Van manufacturers lay off sales staff and technicians over the coming months, the rental suppliers seem to be benefiting from the short-term mindset of businesses still in need of fast transportation for delivering goods. Europcar has continued to see double-digit YOY growth throughout the crises, much of which is due to increased demand for commercial vehicles. Elsewhere, national van rental provider 'Global Go' pledged in March to provide 5% of its retained revenue to the NHS moving forward & post the COVID-19 crisis whilst Enterprise has emphasised its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
